This particular 495 is factory fitted with the "pin-type" bridge for steel strings. Most 459's seem to have been fitted with the classical style bridge for nylon strings.
The top of this guitar is signed by Pat Halcox, and Chris Slaughter, both well respected Jazz players back in the 1950's.
