I have, since 1970, made Selmer "Zodiac 50 Mk II" copies for
individual well known guitarists in Poland. Good (factory made) guitar amplifiers
did not exist back then, or at least were very scarce and expensive.
Most Polish guitarists do actually use (over the last 60 years) DIY amplifiers (which
in any case are usually better than factory made!!!) or second hand private
"imports" from the West.
Naturally my products are only like the Selmer amps in as far as the electronics
go. They are however simplified constructively without push-button tone
selectors and they have a tremolo circuit developed by myself which I consider
is better than the original. The outer appearance however is unlike the old
Selmers.
