5. BLUE/BLACK PERIOD - AUGUST 1965 to AUGUST 1967

Serial # 37291 - Selmer Zodiac MkII Combo

For the Blue/Black period, Selmer continued the single number series applicable to all units begun in mid/late 1963 at the start of the Crocskin era. However, they changed the style of displaying these from the previous black labels to black plastic discs with embossed white serial numbers. These discs were either riveted on to exposed rear chassis panels or directly onto the back panel of the cabinet on amps where the rear chassis panel was not exposed.
