1988 HOFNER-MADE GRECO MODEL VB-165  BASS GUITAR

Note the flame-maple laminate used on the body top of the VB-165, rather than the usual spruce laminate usually used by Hofner on the 500/1 model.

Although the VB-165 has the Greco logo on the headstock, the "Genuine Hofner" logo and a Hofner serial number were still applied to the rear of the headstock.
