Mid-1960's HOFNER MODEL 185 SOLID BASS GUITAR

Note the cream finish of the headstock fascia - a feature found on some of the mid-60's Hofner solids.

 

Note the "weathering over time" appearance of the ice-blue finish on the neck. Did Hofner spray it over a standard natural finished neck?
