Modifications made by Bruno to his bass include up-grading the electrics using a German-made re-issue control console and knobs, German-made re-issue tailpiece and bridge, deletion of the "CT" logo on the truss rod cover, white plastic strap buttons, and the fitting of flat-wound Hofner strings. The control console has been mounted upside down, just as on a certain Sir Paul McCartney's bass!
