All the original CT hardware on this bass, with the exception of the pickups and pickup surrounds, has been replaced with Hofner German Re-Issue components. (The pickups fitted as standard to the CT Bass are German-made Schaller re-issues.)
EDUARDO EXPLAINS ABOUT HIS HOFNER BASS:
I bought this bass from Nate Lamy in November 2012. It is from the first production batch of the HCT model. Its serial number is F 0927 - 1012 which means that it was signed-off by Hofner in September 27th 2005 and it was the 12th produced.
When I bought it already had re-issue 62 tuners,
German tailpiece and German controls and control plate. I just bought the
original German Pickguard so that it is completely "Germanized".
I really like my little bass. You know it's really
hard to find an unbound HCT, and I am glad I bought it when I had the opportunity.
