This Model 4570 guitar is unusual in that it has been fitted with the fancier neck and headstock of the Hofner 461 model, with the "rocket-shaped" design on the headstock fascia and the multi-bound neck and multi-strip fret markers.
The white "bar" pickups were fitted only to a small selection of archtop models from late-1959 to early-1960.
