Note the lack of edge binding on the body. The dowel in the neck heel is probably a non-Hofner repair.
The "Meisterklasse" stamp adjacent to the bridge is the same as used on the later early-1950's examples of Hofner's premium archtops. Where is the "Hofner" logo stamp though?
Note the three-piece neck and the inlaid ebony "rocket" on the headstock fascia.
