CHRIS' COMMENTS ON THE AMPLIFIER:

It is an interesting amp. It uses all RCA transistors (2N261s and some other big ones).  These are all germanium ones.  

The tremolo is also of interest as it is on both channels both using a single light bulb running two LDRs (from Mullard).  

Looks like someone replaced some of the capacitors some time in the past.
