Mid/Late 1970's HOFNER MODEL 500/1  BASS GUITAR

Note the white pearloid single-layer pickguard incorporating the Hofner logo.

This bass is one of the first to have the Silver Decal Headsatock logo, but one of the last to have the enclosed tuners with the white plastic buttons.

The Type 513B pickups have the Hofner logo stamped onto them. The logo disappeared on this type of pickup at the end of the 1970's.
